Enabling verification through a link and code

Enabling verification through a link and code in the “Subscribe to Download” plugin improves the security of your subscription process.

First, to enable email verification for subscribers before accessing locked content, toggle the “Verification” option. This will reveal several related fields that need to be configured.

Select your preferred verification method from the “Verification Type” dropdown. Options include “Verification through link” and “Verification through code.”

The Verification Type field allows you to choose how subscribers can unlock content, offering options such as “Unlock by Link” or “Unlock by Code.”

Once the content is unlocked, you can customize the message shown to users in the Unlock Link/Code Message field, ensuring a personalized and clear confirmation of their access.

For example, you might use a message like:

"Congratulations!! 
Your email has been verified and the locked content has been unlocked.
Please refresh the previous page to view the locked content."
