In this section, you can configure many form fields and options:

General setting subscribe to unlock

First of all, enable the form status so that it can appear on the frontend. After entering the form title, the shortcode and form alias will be auto-generated.

For the download file, provide the link in the designated field. You can upload the file directly or choose from the media library. If not using the default media library file, enable the “Use Browser as Downloader” option to ensure downloads work properly. Leave this field blank if you do not wish to enable the download mechanism.

Several options are available for form customization. Enabling “Use Browser as Downloader” allows the browser to handle file downloads directly from third-party services. The “Encrypt Download Link” option secures your download links, ensuring they are accessed from the same IP address used during subscription.

After enabling the “Encrypt Download Link” option, additional fields become available i.e. “Link Expire”.

Once this option is enabled, more fields will appear, such as “Expiry Time” and “Link Expire Message.” The “Expiry Time” field allows you to specify how long the download link will remain active before it expires, adding an extra layer of security. The “Link Expire Message” field lets you customize the message that subscribers will see when the link has expired, providing clear communication and instructions to the user.

Subscribe to download

To redirect subscribers after a successful subscription, enable the “Redirection” option and provide the desired URL. For immediate downloads post-subscription, enable “Instant Download,” which shows a download button below the success message.

For added security, enable “Double Opt-In” to send a confirmation link via email before providing the download link.

Customize messages for the subscription process, such as the “Form Success Message” to thank subscribers and prompt them to check their inbox for the download link. Use the “Form Required Error Message” for required fields and the “Form Error Message” for email sending errors.

You can also choose to always show the form to subscribed users by enabling the “Always Show” option.

The “Unallowed Email Domains” option lets you specify domains that users cannot use in the subscription forms, preventing the use of fake or disposable email addresses. This ensures you collect only valid email addresses for your email list.

The “Unallowed Email Error Message” is displayed when users try to subscribe using a restricted domain. This message informs them that their email domain is not accepted and prompts them to enter a valid email address.

These features help you maintain a high-quality email list by filtering out unreliable email addresses.

At last, Please note that these option will only show if you have configured the necessary credentials in the “Settings” section of our plugin which will explain later within this documentation. If you have configured the necessary credentials and fetched the list of Mailchimp, Constant Contact, MailerLite, Sendinblues, etc then those list will show in end of the General settings panel like in the below screenshot through which you can choose the required list in which the subscriber will be automatically subscribed.

Mailchimp constraint contact list

These steps and options help you effectively set up and manage your subscription form according to your needs.
