Dashboard Settings of Frontend Post Submission Manager

To manage the Frontend Post Submission Manager settings, start by navigating to the Dashboard tab. Here, you will find several configuration options that allow you to customize how post submissions are displayed and managed on the front end.

Begin by enabling the SN (Serial Number) feature, which adds a serial number to each post submission. You can customize the label for this field according to your preference.

Next, you can set the labels for the Post Title and Post Status fields, which are displayed alongside each post submission. These labels will guide users in identifying the title and status of their submissions. Additionally, the Last Modified feature can be enabled to show the date when the post was last edited. You can also set a label for this field, providing a clear indication of its purpose.

The Action Label allows you to define the text used for action buttons or links associated with each post submission, such as “Edit” or “Delete.” You can specify the number of posts displayed per page by adjusting the “Posts Per Page” setting, which is particularly useful for managing large numbers of submissions.

For navigation, you can customize the labels for the “Next Page” and “Previous Page” buttons, ensuring they align with the overall design and tone of your website. Additionally, there is an option to disable post editing for specific post statuses, such as Published, Scheduled, Draft, Pending, Private, or various payment-related statuses. This feature provides control over which types of posts users are allowed to edit, helping to maintain the integrity of published content.

Similarly, you can disable the ability to delete posts based on their status. By checking the boxes next to the desired post statuses, you can prevent users from deleting posts that are published, scheduled, or in other important statuses, safeguarding against accidental or unauthorized deletion of content.

You can also customize the warning message that appears when a user attempts to delete a post. This message will alert the user and ask for confirmation before the post is permanently removed, adding an extra layer of security to the deletion process.

If a user tries to access the dashboard but has no posts listed, you can display a custom message in the “Post Not Found Message” field. This message will inform the user that there are no posts available to view, providing a clear and user-friendly experience.

For administrators, there’s an option to list all posts from all authors when logged in. Enabling this option gives administrators a comprehensive view of all posts, regardless of the author.

Additionally, you can enable the option to list all posts from the logged-in author, even if the posts were not submitted through this specific form, giving users full visibility of their contributions.

Dashboard

The Post Status Filter option allows you to display a filter above the frontend dashboard posts list. This filter will enable users to sort and view posts based on their status, such as published, draft, pending, etc. It enhances user experience by providing a quick way to navigate through different types of posts.

The Post Search option adds a search field above the frontend dashboard posts list. Users can quickly search through their posts using keywords, making it easier to find specific content. This feature is particularly useful for users managing a large number of posts.

The Search Field Placeholder allows you to customize the placeholder text within the search field. By default, it is set to “Search,” but you can modify this to provide more context or instructions to the user.

Lastly, the Search Submit Label allows you to customize the label on the search button. This gives you the flexibility to align the search functionality with your site’s design and user interface standards.
